SURMOUNT EPE is non-cross-linked, extruded, expanded cellular polyethylene foam, manufactured from eco-friendly low-density polyethylene (LDPE) as the base material, with LPG as the blowing agent. EPE has countless tiny closed cells with a very fine and uniform structure, and is available from 1 to 8 mm extruded thickness. A unique heat lamination process builds up the thickness from 5 mm to 100 mm, and many other laminated foam products are also available.
EPE is a versatile product whose characteristics suit packaging, automobile, construction, insulation, marine, sports and many other industries.
EPE is available as standard rolls and sheets, adhesive-backed blocks, die-cut components, pouches, cut pieces, fabricated fitments, 3D covers, and rolls laminated with aluminium, kraft paper, air bubble sheet or HDPE sheet.

APPLICATIONS
- Packaging: TVs, computers and monitors, refrigerators, washing machines, electronic equipment, glassware, ceramics, polyester yarn and films, handicrafts, printers, UPS units, currency counting machines, diagnostic kits, surgical equipment and other fragile products. Also used in electronic equipment as corner pads, buffers, encapsulation blocks, ribs, support pads and adhesive-backed sheets.
- Insulation: EPE rolls and insulation tubes are widely used to insulate windows, split ACs, air handling units, AC ducting, industrial chillers, cold storage, refrigerated vans and containers, industrial refrigerators, cold water pipes and high-altitude drinking water pipes.
- Automobiles: roof tops, engine, bonnet and driver cabin insulation, door panels, seat linings, floor mats, carpet underlays, upholstery, sun visors and car AC insulation.
- Construction: expansion joint fillers, waterproofing of terraces and roofs, foundation wraps, sound barrier underlays, false ceilings and structural glazing.
- Sports: mats for wrestling, judo, gymnastics, taekwondo and exercise, leg and thigh guards, arm, elbow and shoulder pads, helmets, sleeping bag linings, life jackets and gloves.
